Leather Is Our Story

Four generations of leathercraft — carried forward in everything we make. For the Journeys that become memories.

1940s — The Beginning
Hide Trading in Afghanistan

My great-grandfather was a hide trader in Afghanistan’s bustling bazaars, sourcing raw skins from local farmers and herders. He taught my grandfather to judge quality by touch alone—knowing which hides would yield the finest leather before they ever met a tanner’s hands.

Foundation: material knowledge, selection by hand.

1970s–1980s — The Exodus
Mastering Vegetable Tanning

War forced my grandfather to flee Afghanistan, crossing mountains into Pakistan with nothing but the leather knowledge passed down through our family. Starting from scratch, he built our tannery from the ground up—establishing relationships with local farmers and herders for the finest raw hides, then transforming them into quality leather. What began as survival became our foundation.

Discipline: method, patience, finish.

1990s - The Transformation
Supplying Global Clients

My father and uncle saw an opportunity to control the entire process. They learned the tanning craft, transforming our family business from hide traders to leather makers. Combining their raw material expertise with modern tanning techniques, they began producing finished leather for international brands.

Focus: reliability, volume, quality control.
